[Home] [Friends] [Picture Gallery] [Facts] [Name origin] [Good luck wishes] [My brother Peik] [My mummy Kristin] [My daddy Peter]

I was born the 19th of June 1999 at 23:25 after a hard struggle of 8,5 hours.

After the notification of my arrival, my parents and I received a lot of congratulations and good-luck-wishes via email. You can add one if you want to ...

I was quite heavy when I left my mother, about 4370 g. I had a length of about 53 cm and the circumference of my head was 37 cm. My parents Kristin and Peter are extremely thankful for my good health. By the way, I was originally ordered for delivery the 9th of June. I decided to hang in there 10 extra days to show my parents that I have a will of my own.

Now I'm sleeping and drinking and sleeping and drinking ... and sometimes I get bugged by my daddy, who tries to build up a picture gallery.

My mom Kristin was quite eager to write down all my "progress" during the days. The result is a really impressive list, so take a look!

By the way, I already have a number of friends out there ...

When my daddy sent out the notification of my birth, he added the following saying of Lao-Tze:
Yet a tree broader than a man can embrace is born of a tiny shoot;
A dam greater than a river can overflow starts with a clod of earth;
A journey of a thousand miles begins at the spot under one's feet.

Laotze DaoDeJing [Tao Te Ching] is one of the most important literary works of Chinese philosophy, and the basis of Taoism [Daoism].

Related to this direction my parents received the chinese horoscope from Hogne (my moms brother-in-laws' brother) & Sharon (his wife).

Here you can have a look on other interesting news of this day.

My first name is equivalent with the first name of my great-grandfather. Here you can get some information on the origin of the name Nikolaus
